Isaac Alexander, a Newborn Shoot

Having recently been blessed with a healthy son, I decided that the only thing to do was to take some photos of him.

The benefit of the subject being your own child is that the shoot can be done over several hours, meaning that you are more likely to get the exact shots you are after, and that you don't need to stop until you've nailed it. This shoot took two days, several naps, three feeds and at least one nappy change.

Now I think I'll let the photos do the talking, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

As always, click the photos  for a larger version.

Nik had to get in on the action too

And the print that will be hanging on our wall shortly

Isaac sure is a handsome little man - gets that from me, I reckon :P - and he's fitting in really well at home too, so everyone's happy. :)
